Movement Medicine with Solange

Dance to feel present, alive, connected and free. An afternoon of free dance to dance the solstice. The summer solstice corresponds to the longest day, the full power of the sun before the days begin to shorten. It's an opportunity to celebrate the intensity of life for ourselves and on Earth, in the profusion of colors of flowers and the first fruits and vegetables. And the joy of being together.

In Movement Medicine, medicine is movement. We use movement to reconnect with ourselves, others and our environment.
The simple act of moving the body allows you to let go and release your emotions.
The dance is guided. This means you're not on your own. I'll give you a few tips to help you get into movement (starting by forgetting about the gaze of others). It's all about feeling your body and finding the movement that feels good. Feel your body's matter and explore all its capacities for movement. A time just for ourselves, in which we allow the world to turn without us. This often results in a more available body.

I like to start by exploring our current state of being. Diving gently into ourselves to become aware of our physical, mental and emotional state. Taking the time to become more present to ourselves.
And from this point of view, let a movement emerge from within, free from the supposed expectations and projections of the outside. Then extend our attention to what's going on around us, and interweave our dances.
Supported and inspired by the music, we move to explore the material of the body with curiosity and wonder.

We come to reconnect with our bodies, to take a moment for ourselves, to relax, to learn a little more about ourselves. And above all, to dance as if you were alone in your living room, but in a large hall, with the possibility of sharing this pleasure with others.
